Residents of Perry County, AL can rest easier knowing their water supply is no longer solely dependent on the community’s power supply. Four new generators have been installed across the county, serving two existing water wells and two pumping stations—providing critical backup power during outages.
Although the project totals approximately $600,000, it was made possible through the strong partnership between the Perry County Commission and the ClearWater Solutions team, who were able to secure funding through a Rural Development grant.
“The reliability these generators will bring to the community is critical to maintaining a safe and consistent drinking water supply,” said CWS Area Manager Jr. Malone. “The areas where these units have been installed experience frequent and extended power outages. Chairman Ford and the Perry County Commission did an outstanding job securing grant funding, ensuring all four generators were purchased at no cost to the County.”
Installation of the Taylor Power Systems generators is currently underway.
