ClearWater Solutions is pleased to welcome Ben Sears as the new Project Manager for our Yanceyville, NC operations.
Ben brings more than a decade of hands-on experience in water and wastewater treatment, along with a strong commitment to public service, environmental stewardship, and effective utility management. Throughout his career, he has served in progressively advanced roles, including Lead R.O. Plant Operator at Shamrock Environmental Corporation, Lead Wastewater Plant Operator for the Cherokee Metropolitan District, and wastewater operations roles with Widefield Water and Sanitation District and the City of Dickinson, North Dakota.
His technical background includes operating and maintaining a wide range of advanced treatment systems, such as BNR, SBR, IFAS, and R.O., as well as performing process monitoring, regulatory compliance, laboratory testing, DMRQA work, and equipment operation. Ben is also experienced in leading operational teams, coordinating projects, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant facility performance.
Ben holds multiple North Carolina operator certifications, including Biological 4 and Physical/Chemical 2, and also maintains a Class A CDL. He is currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Business at the University of Phoenix, where he holds a 3.96 GPA, and previously earned an Associate of Arts degree as well as a certification in Wastewater Operations and Management from Folsom Lake College.
Ben’s passion for environmental protection, public safety, and community trust, combined with his leadership experience and technical expertise, will be an asset to both CWS and the Town of Yanceyville. We are excited to have him on the team.
