ClearWater Solutions (CWS) is pleased to announce a major milestone in the company’s growth with the acquisition and operation of the wastewater system serving Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership with the federal government.
After more than a year of planning and anticipation, the transaction was finalized on June 15, following an extensive process of federal approvals and negotiations with the previous owner. The wastewater system has been privately owned and operated for more than 30 years.
“In addition to owning the wastewater system, ClearWater Solutions will provide comprehensive operations, maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation services to support the entire RSA campus and its 45,000-person workforce,” said Paul Quentel. “We look forward to bringing our expertise to this critical infrastructure operation and supporting the ongoing mission of Redstone Arsenal.”
Redstone Arsenal encompasses more than 38,000 acres and is home to some of the nation’s most critical organizations and missions, including NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, multiple Department of Defense agencies, the FBI, and the U.S. Army’s premier hub for missile and rocket programs.
“This is such an exciting time for our company,” said Bryce Mendenhall. “It’s a game changer—a unique and strategic position that will hopefully lead to other similar opportunities. It fits right into our wheelhouse of expertise and is located within our geographic footprint. Adding this site will also bring five existing RSA wastewater system employees to our CWS team.”
The acquisition further strengthens ClearWater Solutions’ position as a trusted provider of utility operations and maintenance services while expanding the company’s ability to support critical infrastructure across the region.
This project represents not only an important business milestone for CWS, but also a long-term investment in supporting essential infrastructure and mission-critical operations for one of the country’s most significant federal installations.
