AUBURN, AL – ClearWater Solutions (CWS) has promoted Anthony “Andy” Johnson to Project Manager for the North Louisiana area. With more than 20 years of experience in water and wastewater, Andy has worked his way up from Distribution System Technician to Laboratory Superintendent to Water/Wastewater Operator, and finally to Lead Water Operator before joining the CWS team as a Route Supervisor. This experience has provided an in-depth understanding of process control testing and disinfection byproduct removal by carbon adsorption/filtration; compliance testing and maintenance of regional wastewater plants and chloraminated water systems; chemical ordering; monthly reporting to the state’s health department for compliance; plant repairs; remote water storage facilities; replacement of pumps, motors, and general maintenance; and fire hydrant maintenance.
Andy holds several Louisiana operator certifications including Level III Water Treatment, Level III Production, Level III Water Distribution, as well as Level I Wastewater Collection and Level I Wastewater Treatment.
According to Kenneth Crawford, Regional Manager for Louisiana, he knew right away that Andy would be ideal for this position. “Andy has proven himself through a variety of roles, starting at ‘ground level’ and working himself up the ladder. His background and experience will provide him with a solid base on which to build his management career.”
