ClearWater Solutions is excited to welcome Sharon Kelly as the new Project Manager in Ellijay, GA.
With more than 32 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry, Sharon has served in a variety of roles from Operations Supervisor to Regional Manager and most recently, Environmental Safety & Health Compliance Analyst. Her career highlights include:
- Leading strategic planning and contract negotiations that resulted in six new projects and clients, increasing revenues by over 1,000%—from $550,000 to more than $5 million in just five years.
- Spearheading ESG’s first government contract at Lockheed Martin-Marietta, overseeing proposal development, budgeting, and contract delivery, transforming a previously non-compliant facility into an award-winning operation.
- Serving as a Certified Trainer, gaining approvals from the Georgia Secretary of State and California State University, creating company-wide cost savings and faster licensing for employees.
- Collaborating with engineers to secure funding and implement Infrastructure Master Plans, while also modernizing local Sewer Use Ordinances and construction specifications to ensure regulatory compliance and environmental protection.
As a highly credentialed professional, Sharon holds numerous state-level certifications including Class I Water and Wastewater Operator, Utility Foreman, Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Operator, Water and Wastewater Analyst, DOT Waste Hauling and Hazardous Waste Disposal, Storm Water Inspector, Green Infrastructure Design, Erosion Control (Levels 1A & 1B), and Quality Water Auditor.
