We are pleased to welcome William Ford as the new Area Manager for Kentucky. William brings over 15 years of expertise in the wastewater treatment industry, with a strong focus on resource planning and management to ensure high-quality effluent, implementing effective control strategies, and promoting a safe, healthy work environment.
Throughout his career, William has held key roles such as Process Specialist, Senior Environmental Compliance Inspector, and Plant Manager. He has overseen departmental budgets of up to $1 million, supporting strategic initiatives across three treatment plants. His work has included executing operational objectives, leading training efforts, and managing water quality procedures. William is also a licensed Grade IV Wastewater Treatment Operator in the state of Kentucky.
William’s contributions extended to his role on the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) committee, where he helped administer and support stormwater control measures, identify potential pollutant sources, revise corrective actions, and address compliance issues. He also led the $2.5 million Sodium Aluminate Building and Effluent Parshall Flume Project at the Cedar Creek Water Quality Treatment Center, which resulted in a significant reduction of over 80% of daily chemical usage and generated substantial cost savings. Additionally, William served on the Steering Committee for the implementation of a new Asset Management program, further demonstrating his commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
