Starrett Promoted to State Director Role

CWS is excited to announce that a new State Director for Tennessee has been named.  Lynn Starrett has assumed the role effective January 25, 2025.

As the new State Director, Lynn will use his 10 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry to lead the CWS teams throughout Tennessee with operational and maintenance oversight, staffing and administrative needs, as well as safety and compliance assurance.

Lynn began work with CWS in September 2023 as the Project Manager for the Aqua Utilities and Candlewood Lake projects.  In 2024, he was named an Area Manager for CWS.  Lynn holds a TN Biological Natural, TN Grade 3 Water Treatment, and TN Grade 2 Distribution certification.  His construction and customer service background will also be of tremendous value in this role.

According to Chris Carroll, the VP of Operations for Tennessee, “Lynn has a proven background in leadership at CWS in the private sector.  His attention to detail such as organizational skills, compliance, maintenance, and housekeeping makes him a great choice for this role.  Lynn has recently impressed me with his ability to serve in a business development role while also taking care of operations.”

Congratulations, Lynn!  We are excited to have you in this leadership role for the state.
