ClearWater Solutions’ two new public projects in Florida are off to a great start! The Town of Century and the Town of Jay have already proven to be successful partnerships in the company’s public portfolio.
In the Town of Century, Florida, the CWS team began work on April 17, 2024 to help the Town navigate the two Consent Orders and a DEP lawsuit it was facing. Our team is providing full operations at the wastewater treatment plant and serving as Operator of Record for the water system that serves the Town’s 3,220 residents. The contract, which also includes sampling and reporting for the system, includes a full-time Operator and a part-time maintenance technician who work under the direction of the Project Manager, Allen Fowler.
CWS was also awarded the contract for the Town of Jay, a community located near Century, after a Councilwoman with the Town of Century recommended our company to them. In July, our team began providing operations of the wastewater treatment plant.
“The project in Jay is a perfect example of the organic growth that every company wants,” stated Torrey Jones, the State Director for Florida’s public sector. “While we can grow our company through acquisitions and mergers (inorganic growth), growth as the result of a recommendation for superior performance speaks volumes. If we are out there doing a great job for our clients, they will recommend us to others who need our expertise. Client recommendations are extremely valuable. We are thankful for the Century team who is working hard to serve the client and the community.”
