ClearWater Solutions is excited to announce it has started a new partnership with the City of Leakesville, Mississippi. The team began providing full O&M services for the City’s water and wastewater systems on October 13.
The scope of services includes full management, staffing, and operation of the City of Leakesville’s water and wastewater systems, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Our company will oversee every aspect of system performance — from operating the City’s water distribution network, repairing leaks, maintaining fire hydrants, reading meters, and managing wells, to handling wastewater collection, treatment, and industrial pretreatment programs. Services include sewer line maintenance, inflow and infiltration reduction, flow monitoring, and emergency response 24/7. All staff will be properly trained and certified, receiving fair wages consistent with the Leakesville labor market. ClearWater will also protect and maintain City assets, use local vendors when possible, and deliver high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused service.
“We are honored to have been chosen by the City of Leakesville to provide services for their community,” said Matthew Fountain, CWS Area Manager. “The transition of this project was quite unique as we were awarded the contract on October 7 and asked to begin work on October 13. But we made it happen in less than a week — with seasoned managers coming in from across the state to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of service while a new staff is being hired into place. It’s a great example of our team living out the CWS commitment to do what it takes to serve our clients.”
The project will employ a staff of four who will work under the direction of Project Manager/Operator, Jeffrey “Levi” Scronce.
