ClearWater Solutions is proud to announce that Swainsboro’s Yam Grandy Water Pollution Control Facility has been awarded the Gold Award by the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) for the third year in a row! The presentation was made to the Swainsboro City Council by CWS Project Manager Chris Morton on behalf of the GAWP organization.
This prestigious recognition is awarded only to facilities that achieve 100% permit compliance for the entire calendar year, and in 2024, the CWS Swainsboro team did just that…again.
Maintaining perfect compliance is no small feat—it requires a high level of technical skill and a sincere commitment to protecting both the environment and the communities we serve.
“The Swainsboro team continues to raise the standard,” said Project Manager Chris Morton. “Our Lead Operator, Wade Holcomb, and Plant Operations Supervisor, Will Hutcheson, have guided the team with exceptional leadership and operational know-how over the past few years. This award is a testament to their dedication.”
Since 2021, CWS has proudly provided the operations and maintenance of the City’s water, wastewater, and public works systems. Congratulations to the entire Swainsboro team and all who contributed to this remarkable accomplishment!
