Swainsboro Holds 2nd Annual ‘Touch A Truck’ Event

The Downtown Swainsboro Group hosted its 2nd Annual ‘Back to School – Touch a Truck’ event last weekend and CWS was honored to be a part of it. The event was the kick off to the new school year and provided a fun opportunity for the community to get up close to heavy equipment, fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances, as well as pick up some free school supplies, snow cones and popcorn.

According to Swainsboro Project Manager Chris Morton, “This event is always fun. It takes just a couple of hours of our time, but gives some of these children memories that will last a lifetime.”
