CWS was recently hired by the City of Petal to provide O&M services for the Public Works Department, as well as the water distribution, sewer maintenance, street maintenance, and vehicle maintenance for the City. In addition, CWS maintains the City’s rights-of-way. The sewer system includes 4 wells, 82 lift stations, and the collection system which serves its 11,122 residents. The water system involves a 2 MGD treatment plant, 3 pump stations, 4 wells, 60 miles of water line, as well as meter reading services.
