As we close the books on the 2025 treatment year, we’re proud to share an outstanding achievement by the City of Swainsboro: 100% compliance for both the water and wastewater systems for the entire year.
This means there were no violations or exceedances in either system throughout the 2025 calendar year, a significant accomplishment by any measure. In fact, this marks the first time in nine years that the water system has achieved full compliance, and the fourth consecutive year of full compliance for the wastewater system.
This success is the direct result of the dedication, professionalism, and teamwork of everyone involved. A sincere thank you goes out to the entire team whose hard work and commitment made this milestone possible. Your efforts ensure safe, reliable service for the community and set a high standard for excellence moving forward.
The team will be formally recognized for their accomplishment during the GA Association of Water Professionals (GAWP).
