Decherd Launches Community Food Drive to Support Local Families

The City of Decherd, TN, is partnering with local businesses, including ClearWater Solutions (CWS), to host a community food drive supporting those facing food insecurity.

Larry Quattlebaum, CWS Project Manager for Decherd operations, shared, “CWS is honored to assist the city in this meaningful effort by providing the plastic tubs for canned food collection. While many food drives begin around the holidays, the city is starting early this year in response to the government shutdown. Times are tough for many of our friends, family, and even coworkers. This initiative will help those who are struggling.”

Collection sites for non-perishable food items are located at City Hall, the fire department, and other local buildings. The First Baptist Church will oversee distribution to community members in need.
