CWS Welcomes New Client: The Town of Yanceyville

CWS is proud to welcome a new client: the Town of Yanceyville, North Carolina.

Under this partnership, CWS will serve as the certified operator of record for all aspects of Yanceyville’s water and wastewater systems. The team will oversee daily operations, perform routine maintenance and repairs, manage chemical orders, and ensure all state and federal reporting requirements are met, including submissions to the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality and the Environmental Protection Agency.

While the contract didn’t officially start until December 1st, the CWS team has already jumped in to assist the community during an emergency. Following Tropical Storm Chantal, the water treatment plant experienced major issues that left it offline. During this critical time, the Town was operating through an emergency interconnection with the City of Danville, Virginia.  The CWS team provided technical guidance, on-site assistance, and professional expertise that were instrumental in stabilizing the situation and planning for recovery.

According to Kamara Barnett, the Yanceyville Town Manager, “ClearWater’s proactive involvement, even before their official start date, has given us great confidence in their capabilities and commitment. Based on our experience so far, I believe ClearWater Solutions will be a strong and dependable partner for our community.”

The Yanceyville project team will be led by CWS Project Manager Ben Sears and consist of five employees who are dedicated to delivering high-quality service and reliable water operations that support the Town’s residents and growing community.
