CWS is excited to announce two leaders have been named to the North Carolina team.
Robert Nichols has been promoted to State Director for North Carolina. Robert has been a part of the CWS team for more than 18 years and has climbed in his career from Operator to Project Manager to the most recent role as Area Manager for South Carolina. Robert holds the highest level of water certification in four different states: North and South Carolina, Kentucky, and Alabama.
Drake Robart has been hired as the new Area Manager for the CWS operations in Eastern North Carolina. With 8 years in the industry, his background includes such roles as Contract Technician for a wastewater treatment plant, Wastewater Operator, Public Works Director, and Regulatory Compliance Manager. In addition to general operations, maintenance, and management of the systems, Drake has experience with compliance and safety programs, Sewer FOG, NC Workforce Apprenticeship, and NC Correctional Work Release programs. He holds a NC Grade 4 Biological, NC Grade 2 Collections, NC Grade C Well Operator, and NC Grade B Distribution certification.
“Both of these experienced leaders have proven skills that will align well with our North Carolina operations,” stated Drew Langston, CWS ‘s Regional Director for the area. “With several established projects already in place, we have an excellent opportunity to build on our success in the state. I’m excited to see our North Carolina operations continue to grow under their leadership.”
