CEPSCI Certification Announcement

Congratulations to Drew Langston (Regional Director SC/NC) and Carter Smith (Operator, SC) who have obtained their Erosion Prevention & Sediment Control Inspector (CEPSCI) certifications after successfully completing the CEPSCI course.  

This course, offered through Clemson University, is designed to educate field personnel on the correct methods for installing, maintaining, and inspecting erosion prevention and sediment control measures at construction sites. These practices help protect our lakes, rivers, and streams by preventing runoff. 

“This is an area of service where many of our clients could use some assistance,” explained Drew.  “For example, we can help our client – the City of Liberty – in managing any land disturbance activities through Stormwater inspections. The inspections help ensure contractors are abiding by erosion and sediment control best management practices. Having in-house expertise will provide an opportunity to further serve our clients.”
