During a recent council meeting, Chris Morton, Project Manager for ClearWater Solutions in Swainsboro, Georgia, proudly presented two awards to the City on behalf of the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP).
The CWS team in Swainsboro was awarded two Gold Awards by GAWP for achieving 100% compliance for both the water and wastewater systems for the entire year. This means there were no violations or exceedances in either system throughout the 2025 calendar year—a significant accomplishment by any measure. In fact, this marks the first time in nine years that the water system has achieved full compliance, and the fourth consecutive year of full compliance for the wastewater system.
“This success is the direct result of the dedication, determination, and teamwork of everyone involved,” stated Josh Van Horn, CWS Regional Director for Georgia. “Congratulations to Chris and the entire team, whose hard work and commitment made this milestone possible. Your efforts ensure safe, reliable service for the community and set a high standard for excellence moving forward.”
