CWS’s Spout Springs Water Reclamation Facility in Hall County, Georgia was recently awarded the “Wastewater Facility Gold Award” by the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP). The award is based on NPDES Permit Requirements and Plant Discharge Performance results for the year. Winners will be honored during the organization’s Spring Conference & Expo in April.
The Hall County project consists of the 0.75 MGD Spout Springs Water Reclamation Facility, 19 off-site Pump Stations, 142,015 linear feet of force main, 239,473 linear feet of gravity sewer, and 16,457 linear feet of reuse main. The system serves approximately 2,800 customers. CWS began providing O&M services at the Spout Springs facility in December 2016. It is managed by Chris Thomas and operated by Matt Collins.
