With a new month came the start of a new three-year contract in North Carolina. CWS is excited to announce a new partnership with the Blue Ridge Mountain Club (BRMC)—an upscale community with approximately 300 connections located near Boone, NC. Effective November 1, our company began providing labor to manage and operate the client’s wastewater treatment facility, lift stations, drinking water wells, and water distribution system and its associated facilities.
“We will be working with the BRMC utility system, making sure everything operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulations,” said CWS Regional Director Drew Langston. “Our certified operators will complete weekly system checks, collect and submit required water and wastewater samples, and keep detailed records of all maintenance and testing. Each month, we will share updates with BRMC and the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), and prepare the annual Consumer Confidence Report to keep the community informed. When emergencies arise, our team will be ready to respond quickly—day or night—to keep services running smoothly.”
CWS will also handle routine maintenance, coordinate with contractors for larger repairs, and work closely with BRMC staff to maintain the utility grounds. Above all, safety and reliability will remain our top priorities as we work to protect both the system and the community it serves.
