On September 22, our Fayetteville team had the opportunity to participate in the City’s Fayetteville 101 Citizens Government Academy. This event gave us the chance to interact with community members and share valuable information about the City’s water and wastewater systems.
Working alongside Public Works Director Chris Hindman, CWS representatives Melvin Jackson and Virgil Willis did an excellent job explaining how water meters work, offering tips on detecting leaks, and answering questions about both the drinking water and wastewater plants.
With 25 community stakeholders in attendance, the event provided a great platform to build understanding and strengthen connections between city operations and the residents they serve. We appreciate the City of Fayetteville for including us in this important initiative.
