ClearWater Solutions is excited to announce the addition of a new Chief Financial Officer to our team. Mr. Shannon Barwick joined ClearWater Solutions this week on Monday, April 15th. Shannon is a proven finance organization leader with over 25 years of finance and accounting experience in multiple industries, including both large multi-billion dollar publicly traded manufacturing companies and small privately held companies. He comes to CWS from Concrete Supply Company based in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. He brings deep knowledge in the areas of financial reporting, planning and analysis, cost management, and financial systems (and associated data architecture). He also has a strong background in strategic planning, accounting and billing system implementation, mergers and acquisitions, property and casualty insurance, cash management, and budgeting.
Shannon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Winthrop University. He holds numerous certifications including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA), and Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).
